Very good, in the original white-decorated, black cloth-covered boards/white title, and with the spine-sunned and slightly chipped but otherwise sound, black-printed, orange dust-wrapper. Inscribed and signed on the front free endpaper " To George Smith With all Good Wishes. From Jennie Hawley - Jeffery Farnol" [Blanche Wilhelmina Victoria Hawley was Farnol's wife until they divorced in 1938. Their only daughter was named Gillian. Might she have called herself Jennie??].
