Large, very thick, heavy book, dark blue cloth spine with red background for gilt title and author as well as line design near-bright, blue-marbled boards with embossed gilt title and design on front, red inside covers and adjacent end papers, ink name and date (1958) at top of first front end paper, 1036 pages plus brief biographical note, lightly browned pages. DJ heavy paper, colorfully designed in dark blue, red and white on front and spine, white back, white portions very slightly and uniformly browned, design of blue stars at bottom front and spine, small b/w photo of Lerner at top back left, back lightly soiled. DJ has micronicks and very tiny tear to front and spine edges. Near Good DJ/Very Fine book.
