A thorough discussion of American land additions, from the Louisiana Purchase, Gadsden Purchase to the annexation of Hawaii. The text block is clean and tight, without marks. The green cloth boards are stained and darkened, with spotting on the outer pages. An early classic of a heady time in American history.
