Springfield, Mass.: George and Charles Merriam. Good with no dust jacket. 1852. Hardcover. Full leather hardback is tightly bound with FO name to Fly and Title Page. End papers are a light mauve with advertising and testimonials as well as foxing around edges. Paper beginning to crack at both gutters but not affecting strength of binding. Overall light age-tanning with light foxing in many places. Edges marbled but faded. Leather worn at cover edges and spine with boards showing at corners and lower edge. Black headback with gilt is worn and cracked making it difficult to read. Thick and heavy. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 1367 pages .
