Green buckram cloth covered hardcover boards with gilt decoration on front cover, gilt lettering on spine.
Inscribed and dated on FFE by the author. Hardcover is as new, no defects noted.
DJ has chipping, edge wear and open tear on right side of head of spine on front cover. Some age toning to DJ. Original slipcase in good- condition, with wear and paper loss to one front corner.
In entertaining stories written for the general reader this is a series of that relates the inspiring accomplishments by medical men of America, little known to the average student of history and literature. Included are 21 portraits by Raymond Warren painted from contemporary sources.
