Maroon colored cloth over boards with embossed text on upper and gilt text on spine; minor edge wear to head and tail. Illustrated dust cover with black and white text on upper and spine; edge wear; minor chips to head and tail of spine; no tears; wrapped in protective mylar. Illustrated end papers show some foxing and rear paste down has part of a former price sticker still partly adhered. Interior pages clean, unmarked. There are over 2100 entries listed alphabetically. Binding is tight.
