Prev.owner names on the front free endpaper. illustrations. light soiling to the extremities, toning to the pages, otherwise a very well preserved copy of this original edition of American Folksong. Includes an eight page autobiography,"My Life" and a five page essay "Leadbelly is a Hard Name". The songs are of the working man, imprisoned souls, and poor people.. First Edition. Softcover. Very Good. Octavo.

The store contains over 10,000 books in over 80 different subjects, and favors good used books and good literature (both hardcover and paperback) over popular books and bestsellers. Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.). The business is run by Richard Chalfin.
