Imprint and date of publication at bottom of title page pasted over with label of D.M. Ferry & Co., Detroit, Michigan. Copyright 1895, Orange Judd Company. illustrated, index, 10 page descriptive catalogue of rural books. -- Pulled signature near center of the book (see photo), otherwise the binding is sound. Light exterior wear. -- Overall Good+ Condition or better. Authors four page preface ends with: I remain Fraternally, John Husmann, Talcoa Vineyards, Napa, California : 1896". -- James Simonton purchased he Winter Winery in 1881 and changed the name to Talcoa Vineyards. At the time this revised edition was published George Husmann was director of the winery's scientific department. -- Part IV. Grape culture and Wine Making in California pages 187-269.
