Francis Vinton Greene, this copy Inscribed by Roosevelt ("Lyman L. Pierce Esq./with regards of/Theodore Roosevelt"), Pierce was considered to be the originator of the fund-raising campaign and was widely regarded as one of the country's foremost philanthropic fund raisers, he conducted the first ever capital campaign for the YMCA raising more than $60 million in the early 1900s. Minor wear and marks to spine, else fine.
