Philadelphia: Stoddart, Atherton, 1831. Hardcover. Good. . Stated second edition. Volume 1 only. Bound in full leather with gilt decoration and lettering, cover shows minor wear and rubbing, bumped corners and edgewear. Pages are heavily foxed, minor annotation in pencil. Engraved title page and plates, one torn. Godman was a physician and anatomist and one of the earliest members of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia (now of Drexel University).
