Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, stamps, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Clipped jacket has light edge wear with moderate tears and chipping. Very Good+ in Very Good+ DJ: The Book shows indications of very careful use: foxing at the top edge of the text block and less so at the fore-edge and endpapers; a quarter-inch red line at the upper corner of the front free endpaper; a small line of sun-blanching at the head and heel of the backstrip; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. Not quite pristine, but remains very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows only a thin line of rodent nibble at the top edge of the front panel and a touch of darkening to the backstrip; the price is intact; mylar-protected. Overall, remains a handsome copy: clean, sturdy, and quite presentable. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.3 x 5.75 x 1.35 inches). xiv, 343 pages plus an eight page Index.
