New York: Leavitt & Allen, 1854. First Edition. Leather bound. Good. Embossed leather with gilt lettering on front back and spine, top and bottom of spine, leather is peeling away. Front pastedown endpaper is present with half inch detached paper, foxing throughout, mostly on early pages. Edges are gilt, 32 full page steel engravings. Pictures and descriptions of places where the author traveled. 8" x 9-3/4" (20.5 x 23 cm). 310 pp.
