A.E. Miller, 1826. Very Good. First Edition. 16mo, 295pp, full leather, gilt spine rule. Scarce original comprehensive treatise on arithmetic, with an emphasis on currency exchange. Author Mackey perhaps best known for his son Albert, whose works contributed largely to the crafty fraternity of freemasonry. Very Good overall, numerical notations on the endpapers, brief dampstaining, moderate foxing and rubbing, a few blemishes to the boards, spine edge cracks, and brief loss at the spin ends, still solid.
