The second- and last- of these annual selections, listed by state or country, from "The American Mercury" magazine's department of Americana. Signed presentation from Mencken on the title page: "For Robert Lang, God save the writer..., H.L. Mencken." A similar, and quite popular, collection was published the previous year, with Mencken also as editor. Very Good (front cover bright but spine is dull); few tears with a few having internal repairs with archival tape (some sunning & few chips) d/j. $500.00.
