Description:
Ex-library with usual markings but pages are otherwise unmarked and crisp. Stain on spine. Wrinkling, possibly from a spill on back board, but binding is tight and the book overall in good condition.

Princeton: Princeton University Press, 1941. First edition. Octavo. Cloth boards titled in burgundy to spine; 310 pp.; dust jacket. Collins investigates the causes and consequences of the large displacement of Americans following the depressive 1930s. Much anecdotal material taken from the Tolan Committee of the House of Representatives Investigating the Interstate Migration of Destitute Citizens, public hearings that took place in 1940 and 1941. An about Near Fine copy with just a hint of rubbing to extremities. In the illustrated, price-clipped dust jacket, which is worn and chipped with a chunk missing from the head partially affecting the title. Good+.
