This book was published in conjunction with the exhibition "The Ancient Americas: Art from Sacred Landscapes," organized by The Art Institute of Chicago and shown at The Art Institute (October 10, 1992-January 3, 1993); the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (February 4 - April 18, 1993); and the Los Angeles County Museum of art (June 6 - August 15, 1993). Stunningly illustrated with color and b/w reproductions of photographs, drawings and many different art works. Near fine condition.
