London: The Oldbourne Press, 1960. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Elephant Folio - over 15 - 23" tall. In "Acanthus History of Sculpture" series. First edition and printing. In very good plus elephant folio beige boards with gilt titles and tan coloured cloth spine with gilt titles. The covers are very clean, straight and tight; slight edge-wear. Beige end papers, lightly tanned around the edges; initials on front paste down. Slightly tanned cut edges. The text block is in very good plus condition; title page loose, but otherwise text block tightly bound, straight and with unmarked pages. With 32 quality b/w plates. No dedications etc. In good black dust jacket, with b/w photo and white titles. The jacket has chipped edges, with tiny open and closed tears. Not price clipped. Covered with plastic jacket. Heavy.
