Clean and bright throughout, showing only light wear. Contents: The figure of female hair; Common trademarks; Japanese hat and cap; Hair-tool of women; Hair-pins and combs; Japanese female clothing; The amusements of children; The words of children; Exhibitions for money; The kind of beggar; The celebrated articles and food in Tokio, The names of cake. All fully illustrated with woodblock prinits. Contained in a VG silk-covered box with illustrated paper pastedown, showing some toning and discoloaration, two corners split, and old price and notation inked on inside of box top. 2 sheets printed in Japanese are laid in. Includes also a stitched binding booklet with text in Japanese. The work is a rare and lovely display of things Japanese from the Meiji Period.. Softcover. Very Good. 8vo - 8" - 9" Tall.
