About This Item
New York: The Nourse Co. Book. Fair. Hardcover. Reprint. The copyright is 1919, Platt & Nourse Co., Inc., but the title page lists only Nourse (The Nourse Co.) and no date. Likely an early 1920s reprint. Moderate wear to the extremities. Cracking inside the front cover and near the middle of the book. Previous owner penciling on the front endpapers. Tear to the Contents page and a few other pages. The rest of the book is holding up pretty well, but foxing was found on several pages and some of the color plates are loose. 211 pages with numerous black and white illustrations and seven full-page color plates. Illustrator not named and the lower corner of each plate contains a symbol that may indicate the artist. 0.
