Portrait illustrations of Jackson and Van Buren. The fourth in a series of "Lives of the Presidents" by the Author, who was Private Secretary to President Lincoln in the White House. An antiquarian book in very good overall condition. The decorations on the cover is faded and there is a number on the spine (lib?) - no other marks, internally clean.
