London: Raphael Tuck & Sons Ltd. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1949. Presumed First UK Edition. Hardcover. Delightful small Animal counting book in verse - 1 to 10. No date but c. 1949/51? The US (Whitman) version of this book was published in 1949, and acknowledgement is noted on the Tuck copyright page - rear of the front cover. Pictorial paper boards. Stapled - very slightly rusty - but only seen in the centre double fold - negligible. In the Tiny Tales Series - numbered TT1001 on the bottom of the rear cover No Inscriptions or marks inside. 20 pp. Illustrated in full colour by Louise Myers. Each number has an Animal illustration and accompanying verse. "Three Little Kittens, Climb up a Tree, See them jump down again - One-Two -Three." . Very clean and tight - a little wear to the covers. Charming illustrations for the young reader/learner/listener. The rear cover lists 10 other titles in this series.
