Original maroon cloth with decorative inlaid decorative title to the front cover and gilt titles to the backstrip. pp. iii, 300, illustrated and 2 leaves of ads at the rear of the book. A nice copy - spotted at the pastedowns and endpapers but internally clean and fresh otherwise. Pushed and rubbed at the corners and spine tips but the covers are clean and the titles bright. An uncommon early history of the home of cricket.
