Interesting large format period book in publisher's gray paper covered boards with white spine and cover lettering. Book is clean and tight; front cover bowed outward (may relax after being stored flat). No interior or exterior markings. Last page has a little age spotting to edges. ; Color & B&W Photographs & Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 224 pages .

This an English language version of the publication which was also published in German or French. A very good, clean, tight copy. No inscriptions. The text supported by numerous photographic reproductions in colour and black-and-white, some full page illustrative plates in colour and a number of line drawings in the text. This copy unusual in that it is housed in the original card wrap-around sleeve that the publication was sent out in. The price of 30 shillings printed in black to both flaps of this card board book box. There is a crease to both corners of the front card cover with some associated rubbing and wear to the extreme tip of the lower front card cover corner. There is a similar light crease to the lower corner of the front card cover - this corner is also slightly rounded at the extreme tip.… Read More
