The directors are listed: all stock issued, assets, costs . .etc. This company was a conglomerate of the Texas Pacific Railway Company; Houston & Texas Central Railroad Company; Missouri Kansas and Texas Railway; Trinity and Brazos Railway; St. Louis, San Francsicos and Texas Railway; The Chicago, Rock Island and Gulf Railway; St. Louis, Southwestern Railway; Paris and Great Northern; Ft. Worth Denver City . etc. and the Union Terminal Company. The securities were held by several NY and Texas entrepeneurs and banks including Harrison and Hanover banks. These companies also controlled many of the other railroad lines. These ledgers provide and important insight into the consolidaton of railroad wealth involving most of the Western United States.
