Black and white frontispiece being a reproduction on a 1719 pamphlet on the uses of an anodyne necklace for children. 1/4 green coloured backstrip with gilt coloured titles. 3/4 dark cream coloured boards with self embossed illustration. Colour illustrated dustwrapper, by Alexander Farquharson, with pink, yellow and payable yellow colour titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the backstrip. Black and white photo of author to the rear fold over panel. The third Richard Jury mystery. Softening of the backstrip edges with a little age toning and marking of the text block edges. Gift inscription to the top right hand corner of the free front and paper. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. A little creasing of the edges with fading of the backstrip. There is a brown coloured stain to the verso of the dustwrapper. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [9], 4 - 250 pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
