Another Man’s Baby is a book in the Nine Months Later series by Tara Taylor Quinn. Marcus and Lisa Cartwright are blissfully happy in their marriage until they discover that Marcus is sterile and can’t give Lisa the baby she fervently desires. Marcus considers divorcing Lisa so she can find a man to father a child with her. But Lisa is unwilling to let Marcus go, so takes a brave step to hold their marriage together. Lisa’s best friend, Beth is a lonely widow who helps her to achieve her goal. Lisa’s widowed father, Oliver is attracted to Beth. This novel has an interesting plot, but could have done with some judicious editing, as it rather dragged in places. Marcus, as the hero, was frustratingly blinkered and selfish at times. Nonetheless, moving and thought-provoking.
