About This Item
U.S.A.: Simon & Schuster, 1971. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. From the collection of Adrian Homer Goldstone--(Steinbeck's bibliographer)---a fine copy of the first printing in a very good price-clipped dustjacket. This copy is signed by Gann directly on the title page--signature only--no inscriptions. A tight and clean unmarked copy. The dustjacket has a light shelfwear rubbing and a crease to the bottom of the front panel. In addition there is some moderate sun toning along the top panels and spine. What makes this copy unique is that it is signed by Gann--a very scarce signature of this title.
