In blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine, top edge sprayed blue. Maps on endpapers. Spine ends and corners very slightly rounded, else neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket (jacket has some shelfwear, a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, tanned on edges of inner front flap). Drawing of the resources of the Scott Polar Research Institute, its Librarian and Information Office, H G R King presents Antarctica as a world and as an unrivalled scientific and research opportunity.
