First thus American hardcover edition by The Caxton Printers. 1953 on title page with no statement of later printings. Appears to be an Ex-Library copy with the following indications: tape ghosts to edges of green cloth boards and joining endpapers. Looks like a pocket was removed in rear and small erasure to top of title page, else free of markings. Boards and text are clean, binding is tight. The non price clipped ($3.00) DJ looks nice however it looks to me like a library label was scraped off the lower front panel.
