Octavo. 216 pp. Illustrated dust jacket. Orange and purple boards stamped in silver; tan endpapers. Unclipped dust jacket worn and wrinkled along edges with mild chipping and soiling. Boards shelfworn and spine ends nudged. Slight lean to boards but binding is sound. Foxing to edges of text block and overzealous rubbing/erasing to preliminaries, but interior unmarked. Still a Very Good copy; scarce signed.
Synopsis
Anthills of the Savannah is a 1987 novel by Nigerian writer Chinua Achebe. A finalist for the 1987 Booker Prize for Fiction, it has been described as the "most important novel to come out of Africa in the [1980s]."
