London: Joseph Masters & Co. , 1878. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed. 9" by 6". Not Stated . A very smart first edition of this collection of ancient epitaphs comllected by Thomas F. Ravenshaw. A collection of ancient epitaphs collected and set forth in chronological order by Thomas F. Ravenshaw, spanning from A.D. 1250 to A.D. 1800. The first edition of 1878. With the publisher's advertisements to the rear.Complete with the folding plate to the frontispiece and the half title. Re-backed in a full cloth binding with the original publisher's cloth boards restored and new endpapers. Externally very smart, with minor shelf wear only and some bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The binding was professionally tape repaired to the frontispiece and corrigenda and notanda leaf. The pages are bright and clean. Collated, complete with half title and folding frontispiece. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
