Description:
Berlin, Germany: Deutsche Buch-Gemeinschaft, 1964. Oversized (34 x 24 cm) softcover with dust jacket (and two same size stiff card inserts for added strength and stability), 29 pages including 10 tipped in full colour illustrations;---text in German;---book at first glance flawless with pristine fresh white covers and pages, exceptionally clean and unmarked throughout, no age toning or foxing, BUT the binding is fragile with two splits in the spine at pages 26/27; DJ's white covers are slightly age toned, particularly the sun faded spine, and the reproduction of Plate VII glued to the front is slightly wrinkled due to the drying of the glue, but otherwise there are only tiny traces of shelf wear. See also our other titles in this series, Goya, and Venezianische Renaissance (buy two or more and save on postage!). . Soft Cover. Very Good -/Very Good +.
