Northboro, MA: Ruth Webb Lee. Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket. 1950. 3rd Edition. Cloth. A most interesting third edition in Very Good condition in alike dustjacket. Bright purple with a white goblet in center of front cover. SIGNED by author Ruth Lee Webb on the front flyleaf. Bumping to corners and spine with an area of discoloration at head of spine. Dustjacket chipped around edges with faded spine. Laid in is a typed and signed letter from author Ruth Lee Webb dated April 5, 1956, to the owner Mrs. Lyle E. Replogle of Stanfordville, NY, discussing reproduction Atterbury duck dishes. Replogle's name and address inside front cover; In 1938, when the first edition of Antique Fakes and Reproductions appeared, it was Ruth Webb who said: "A reproduction becomes a fake when it is sold as a genuine antique," and, "It requires knowledge to know when a bargain is really a bargain". This volume is attempting to increase this knowledge; B&W Photographs; Signed by Author .
