Good+/No Jacket. 16 Cms x 23.5 Cms. f/piece+xxiv+172, 24 further plates ex-pagination, 74 text figs; prev.owner's small gilt label top front pastedown otherwise internally clena, tight & unmarked, covers minimally word, numerous scattered faint whitish flecks, spine ends and joints very slightly rubbed. Reid Moir' was a major inter-war figure in the history of British prehistoric arhcaeology, focussed on Cromer region and East Anglia generally, his advocacy of 'Eoliths' - large flints which he claimed were the earliest stone tools - caused considerable controversy and has now been fairly well rejected.
