The Azorean author Álamo Oliveira (i.e., José Henrique Oliveira Álamo), has published at least 15 volumes of verse (beginning in 1968), 8 of plays, 4 of essays, 2 collections of short stories, and at least 5 novels. Several of his writings have gone through more than one edition.
