Gottingen: Johann Christian Dieterich, 1798. Sixth Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo. 808 pp + [16]. Sixth edition, translated from the original Swedish. Later rebind, in pale blue marbled boards with leather spine label and newer endpapers. Some scuffing to boards, spine heavily rubbed with chipping to head. Hinges tender with slight cracking, small pencil notation to fpd and chip to lower fore corner of ffep. Few bolts remain partially uncut. Some light notations scattered throughout text in red pencil. Faded staining to few leaves and some slight discoloration, otherwise text remains clean. Clipped advert laid in. Binding tight and sturdy. Landmark work on pediatric medicine.
