New York: Robert M. McBride & Company, 1932. Very Good -. New York: Robert M. McBride & Company, 1932. First Edition. Octavo (20.6 cm); [ii], [1]-625pp. Illustrated section markers. Boards bound in gray cloth with red stamping on front and spine. Top stained in red. Discoloration to the spine and top margins of both the front and back boards. Corners and head and tail of spine slightly bumped. Gray endsheets have discoloration in the gutters and the pastedown, but binding remains tight. Back endsheet has pencil in the upper right corner. Pages unopened between the table of contents but all others have been opened by a previous reader. Pages clean with only a few small tears at the bottom edges from being opened. A satirical novel directed at the English literary scene of the period.
