Soft cover. 8vo. 21.6cm, 32p., printed wraps, some wear to cover edges, very good to fine copy, rare (N14) Angus Dallas (c.1802-1886), was a Toronto merchant who wrote two pamphlets on education. He attacks the school system arguing "it was imported from Massachusetts and was designed for a Republican and Unitarian community.". This was denied by the Department of Education.
