Toronto. Printed and Published at the Office of the "Catholic Citizen," corner of Street and Exchange Alley. 1858. Soft cover. 8vo. 21.6cm, 32p., printed wraps, some wear to cover edges, very good to fine copy, rare (N14) Angus Dallas (c.1802-1886), was a Toronto merchant who wrote two pamphlets on education. He attacks the school system arguing "it was imported from Massachusetts and was designed for a Republican and Unitarian community.". This was denied by the Department of Education.
