Original blue cloth with gilt titles to front. 140pp. With folding coloured map of Enagland & Wales at front showing 'proposed organisation of the railway system into districts', by R. Price Williams, pub. by Stanford. Early railway history analysing the roles of private industry and the state. Clean covers, front bright, but spine cloth very frayed with half missing. Contents good: split to front internal hinge but pages held and largely clean- a few underlinings. Map clean and bright but has some minor edge tears. Ex-library with residues of labels to front endpapers, and small class number to spine. A Good copy. Pictures available.
