Burton's multi-volume translation. This is a large-format edition in the publisher's original green cloth binding with gilt spine lettering. "Unexpurgated Edition" of the Princess Shahrazad's stories from the medieval Islamic world that contains a selection of some of the most popular stories: Ali Baba, Sinbad, Aladdin, or the Wonder Lamp, etc. All stories are accompanied by classic vintage illustrations. Nicely decorated end papers. There is just a little edgewear to the top and bottom edges, there is a small spot to the foredge which does not affect the contents, there is a slight ripple to the gutter toward the top, and one corner is slightly bent. A classic work in a large-format edition with. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. Dust jacket in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings. Priority and International shipping will be extra because of the size and weight of this book.
