About This Item

xv+522 pages with diagrams, illustrations, charts, tables, figures, site plans, maps, bibliography and index. Royal octavo (9 1/2" x 6 1/4") bound in original publisher's green cloth with white and yellow lettering to spine and cover with blind-stamped pictorial cover. A little dated but the archaeological information in here is pretty solid. A good introduction to the general public to how interesting and enlightening archaeological studies can be! The title is a bit misleading as this isn't necessarily a sourcebook as much as a series of studies based around specific topics. If one wants to learn the depth of disciplines in archaeological studies/excavation. Condition: Corners slightly bumped, head and heal of spine rubbed else good to very good.
