Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Blue gilt stamped cloth over boards, black-and-white pictorial end papers, 116 pages, Selective Bibliography, List of Works, Biographical Chronology, 178 illustrations in gravure and four full-color reproductions. Corners lightly bumped, front cover scuffed just a little. In a color illustrated dust jacket that is lightly soiled, lightly chipped at head of spine, bumped to top corners, top edges rolled in just a little. "To those who have studied the evolution of contemporary sculpture, the revolutionary character and seminal importance of Archipenko's work have become evident.
