Inscription reads "To Andy Rivers for kindness to Bill Hill". Dr. Andrew B. Rivers was a prominent physician from the May Clinic in the mid-20th century. Rivers was once the personal physician of Harry Hopkins, one of the architects of the New Deal. Pillsbury is considered by some to be one of if not the most influential dermatologists of the 20th century. This volume sat untouched in a nice library for many decades. Bound in original dark blue cloth. Just light wear in a few places to exterior, with, perhaps, just a hint of a bump to each of the top corners of the boards. Gold lettering to spine is clear and fresh. Text clean and binding sound. An attractive copy of this very scare book
