Condition: Very good, binding sound, no inscriptions. Dustjacket condition: Very good, with very light shelfwear. 200pp. 178 illustrations, including 49 colour plates. In this monograph on the French-born American artist Arman (1928-2005), the author surveys the total oeuvre. Arman stopped painting in 1955 and created a new genre of art he called "cachets" - sheets of paper covered with the repeated imprints of one or more rubber stamps which then led to other original genres using real objects..
