Indianapolis: Bowen-Merrill, 1894. Book. VG+. Cloth. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First edition. Matching dates on title and copyright pp. 169 pp. Cover bottom is 2/3 brown cloth and the top 1/3 is burgundy. This copy is VG+. Exterior is rich and clean. Gilt is bright. TEG. Minimal signs of wear. Edges are sharp. Inside has PO name in light pencil on FEP. Inside front cover has a brief newspaper article dated July 25, 1916 about Riley's death taped in. Frontispiece of woman crossing a wooden bridge with tissue guard. Scattered foxing and modest toning. Otherwise unmarked, clear, and firmly bound . Includes the poem " My Bride That Is To Be" on pp.70-72. No ads , but 26 lines on p.110. Very nice Would pair very nicely ( identically bound) with my # 1171, "Sketches in Prose" ..
