About This Item

London : Michael Joseph Ltd, 1969. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean. Bumped spine ends, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with the barest hint of light toning to edges, and a few feint spots to top edge. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels very lightly read. Near fine condition. Jacket very good with small rubs to the corners and some light colour break creases to the edges. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a quality addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A better than usually found copy of this fascinating comprehensive title, the jacket has some evidence of wear but looks very presentable on the shelf in the archival fitted cover.
