About This Item
Flagstaff, AZ: Northland Press, 1985. First edition, in a prepublication dust jacket. Hardcover. 175pp. Oblong quarto [25 cm by 28 cm] Red cloth with a gilt stamped title on the spine and a blind stamped title on the front cover. Very good. The front cover is very slightly warped. In a near fine, prepublication dust jacket (flaps blank, and no biographical portraits), with minor edge wear, and a trace of soiling on front panel. Not only was Arnold Friberg known for bringing to life the characters in The Book of Mormon and Cecile B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments, but he was also highly esteemed for his paintings depicting Native American culture and the reverence for the land and people of the early west.
