Ingersoll (1833-1899), which includes: "A believer is a songless bird in a cage, a Freethinker is an eagle parting the clouds with tireless wings." (p. 18) Very scarce. In Very Good Condition: minor chipping to wrapper edges; closed 1-cm. tear from lower edge of front wrapper; back wrapper is lightly soiled; otherwise, clean and solid.
