ARSON BROADSIDE - WHITEHALL, May 29th, 1829. Whereas it hath been humbly represented unto the KING, that, late on the night of Tuesday the 12th instant, two HAY RICKS and four loads of STRAW, the property of Christopher Gane, of Westlands-Farm, near Beanacre, in the Parish of Melksham, in the County of Wilts, were maliciously set on FIRE and DESTROYED by some evil-disposed Person or Persons unknown : etc., etc. ROBERT PEEL. And, as a further encouragement, a Reward of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS, Is hereby offered by Paul Methuen, Esq. the proprietor of the said Farm, etc., etc.

A few little nicks and creases at the edges, three faint horizontal and one vertical fold with the odd tiny hole where the folds meet, a couple of very small and fine worm tracks along the folds, all scarcely visible except against the light, overall in good condition. *The text of this broadside is taken verbatim from the announcement in THE GAZETTE, page 982, 1829.
