Single matted in a 20th century gold metal frame with glaze. Image: 7 3/8'' x 4 3/4'' in frame 16 1/8'' x 18 1/4''. Three lines of text below image with a block of 12 lines of text cut out below the image. A Fine print. (not examined out of frame). ***This hand colored aquatint lithograph is from "A Picturesque Voyage to India by the way of China" by Thomas and William Daniell. This book describes and illustrates their 8 year journey (April 1785 - September 1794) first to China and then to India aboard the 'India Man Atlas'. According to IPEX Exhibition of English Color Plate Books, this book is "surely among one of the most beautiful things ever made."***.
